That was right on time. I too had Mr.Edward Watson in PS #25. i lived on Point Street. AS you may know, Mr. Watson always sung a timely song by Sly & the Family Stone that was poignant for the occassion. He died back, I believe 1970. The community was devastated. Even the bullies of that time respected Mr. Watson. One day I will right a bool on him!

Uhm, you mean you bought your daughter a motor-cycle to sit on and drive? Or did I get that wrong?

Well, we also bought all kinds of vehicles over the many years, and finally had a cellar full of them and could have supported the local kindergarten with: bobby-car, tricycle, daisy-cutter, kettcar, skateboards and bicycles in different sizes...

That meant that the Holy Eve (when you get your presents in Germany) we always spent in the dark and windy cold outside by the harbour.

Have fun and happy holidays!

Paula

(who takes it easy this year, only two presents to wrap, which are going to be bought tomorrow morning together with the tree)

:o) So close to home. I just plan on having one of my kid spill a drink every time we eat out. We eat out a couple of times a week (Sunday dinners and Wednesday nights with my parents, or Saturday morning breakfast at Denny's with a friend and her multiple children). The trick is that you've got to direct the glass in which way it falls. LOL Just make it go towards the middle of the table instead of the outside. Hahaha Really, I know it's *easier* to eat in, but the more you take Gia out, the more she will get calmed down and used to eating in a restaurant. If you don't ever do it, it will remain a novelty to her and you can expect her to keep acting up. My kids were REALLY bad in restaurants when they first came back to live with me, but now they do pretty good. ;o) Good luck at Christmas!

I think you work your way to Christmas until you can enjoy it.

The first christmas tree we ever had in this home was the biggest we could get on the market, my 6 year old son and me (husband was still working). We were so happy, but how get it home (no parked car with roof round the corner)? So we carried it all the way to the underground station, me holding the heavier part, him the top, hardly managed to get it in because it was to tall, carrying it up the 250 stairs up the hill and even the 100 steps in our house, put it in the corner of the living room, and - gooosh - it fell, leaving a thousand needles on the floor (the other 1000 we had left already in our hall. So we decorated it with everything we could find and it was the most beautiful Christmas tree we ever had!
